Member of the folk-pop collective Anímic, Ferran Palau began his solo career in 2012 with L’aigua del rierol (Amniòtic Records, 2012), an album in which he explored the most classic and intimate face of folk music. While his lyrics turned darker with religious references, Ferran Palau incorporated more instruments and registers in his second album Santa Ferida (Halley Records, 2015). This transformation became more evident in last year’s Blanc (Halley Records, 2018), an album that combines the songwriter’s intimate lyrics with minimalistic electronic arrangements and that became one of the most notable works of the catalan music panorama.
